Store in plastic or fabric covers:

Clothes that have embroidery tends to get tarnished or blacken over time. You could opt for plastic or fabric covers—the end-point for both is to keep dust, moisture and insects away. Metallic fabrics, which have been a big trend for the past few seasons, should be covered in soft butter or tissue paper.

Leave them hanging:
Instead of hanging, your heavy Indian outfits such as lehengas and saris it is better to fold and store them. Clothing storage: Your expensive wardrobe needs to be stored in a clean, cool, dry, dark environment in order to protect it from UV damage, colour fading, discourage insect infestation and retard bacterial growth.
